NAMHO CONFERENCE 2012 - FOOD AND DRINK
The venue will provide a range of food services as there is an on-site restaurant and catering facilities. The plans are as follows:
| FRIDAY | An evening meal will be available from 8 pm till 9 pm. The plan is for a simple hot dish (plus vegetarian option) for those who cannot reach the venue on the dot of 8 pm. The meal will be finished before the opening slide presentation at 9 pm. Bar will be open until midnight. |
| SATURDAY | The National Trust will open the restaurant to our delegates at
about 8.15 am for the purchase of breakfast delights such as bacon
butties. These need to be paid for at the time of purchase. For lunch, there will be a range of sandwiches which need to be ordered in advance or you can make your own arrangements or buy lunch in the National Trust restaurant. If you are staying at Alderley Edge for the whole day, you will not be able to collect sandwiches from the venue but there is an excellent tea rooms at the Edge that provides hot snacks, tea, coffee, cakes, etc as well as a pub. The evening meal will be served in the conference venue from 7.30 pm (to be confirmed) and will be a three course sit-down meal. The bar will be open until midnight. There will be two barrels of Dunham bitter as well as Robinsons bitter. Non-delegates are welcome to join us for the meal but must book in advance and express preferences for the meal. Tea and coffee will be available at intervals during the day. |
| SUNDAY | The arrangements for breakfast and lunch are the same as for
Saturday. Remember to choose the type of sandwich if taking
advantage of the facilities provided at the conference venue. For Sunday evening, we will have made an arrangement with a local pub (about one mile away) which has a function room for up to 60 people and can prepare meals in advance provided we give them the requirements the day before. Their menu will be available at the venue from Friday onwards. |
| MONDAY ONWARDS | No arrangements are being made but the National Trust restaurant will be open from about 10.00 am (its normal opening time). |
