VIRTUAL TOUR OF Surface
Welcome to the virtual tour of the Alderley Mines. This tour will take you round selected parts of the mine. We'll assume you're in the tea rooms so you can start in Engine Vein (NE), Wood Mine (NW), West Mine (W) or Brynlow Mine (SW). Follow the NEXT STOP buttons to go on the tour if you are running the public version. If you get lost, cave rescue will come to get you (click the blue light) or you can jump to the EXIT. Good Luck. If you click on the Next Stop (public version) or route 2 (club version) below, you will start at West Mine. Club members can use the compass or arrows on the picture to select their own route. For members only, yellow arrows lead to other real passages whereas blue arrows lead you down routes that are not normally accessible or may not even exist!
