A chance for DCC members to descend the 120 foot shaft into Ratchwood Mine in Middle near Wirksworth, there will a full guided tour of the mine and the descent and ascent of the shaft will be by winch so no need for SRT.Meeting time is 10:00 am at the Rising Sun pub in Middleton, caving suit, wellies and a harness with cows tails are needed, the mine does involve some crawling so bring knee protection as well.
