THE DCC TIMELINE

AEMC formed

1858-1859

At Alderley Edge… Share certificate (1862)

A lease was taken out in April 1858 and opencast mining started at West Mine. The Alderley Edge Mining Company Limited was incorporated in August 1859 and shares were issued.
